AP marks the official completion of Boston's Big Dig. Read the article's inset listing the engineering feats and innovations accomplished for the project. It's easy to take the two-minute drive under Boston for granted, especially because I never knew it another way. But tragedies and problems notwithstanding, the Big Dig is truly an extraordinary human achievement. It's a curious wonder of modern life, how much we can easily take for granted, when so much is achieved.
